What to Expect
We'll kick off on Tuesday night, July 31st at 6 PM with an Opening Party at the Internet Archive in San Francisco. Meet the top builders of decentralized tech from around the world at our Science Fair, where you can dive into deep conversations and demonstrations with leaders of 70 decentralized projects.
Then Wednesday-Thursday, August 1-2, 8 AM-6 PM we move to the historic San Francisco Mint, for the multi-track Decentralized Web Summit with hands-on workshops, technical panels, inspiring keynotes and events exploring the law, policy and governance models that may impact the space. You'll meet humanitarian and artists exploring this new set of tools to make the world safer, more private and creative. And of course, we'll dive into the decentralized tech. What are the top dozen "roadblock" issues we must solve in order to build a Decentralized Web that millions can use?
Thursday night from 6-9 PM, we'll journey twenty blocks down the street into the throbbing heart of the Mission District for the closing Afterparty at the Gray Area's theater. Take in the Gray Area Festival exhibition of block-chain based art! We'll open the stage to some multi-talented folks from our DWeb world!
Still wanting more? On Friday, August 3 at 10 AM-5 PM, we'll open the doors of the Internet Archive where we invite the first 100 of you to join us for informal collaboration, plus lunch and a tour. We'll have tables set up for informal collaborating, hacking, and just hanging out.
